No Money? Just Balloonie !

boat awayNews had it that a few bankers decided to celebrate, with a drink or two, or three... The bill for that few bottles alone amounted to some tens of thousands of Pounds. That much was indeed a very small potato as compared to what high rollers got paid, and indeed couldn't even amount to a pebble as compared to what they could squeeze from the public, eventually, with their vices.

Pushing up the market, they reward themselves handsomely. What goes up must come down; that's the only way they can game you for long. Yet they don't have to cough up/out when the going gets tough, for you, that is. They just wait to concoct yet another wave to scheme you so as to reward themselves lavishly again.

How neat, for them, only ever ever more, never less.

So, you have banking regulators, who are “well paid”, according to the government pay scale, to be on guard for the public!? Just throw a few said bottles at them, that would amount to a watchdog's whole year take home pay. Who, one indeed of a thrower's calibrate, would like to take up the position of one a said throwee? Money measures and money talks; who one a high roller would take a lowie salary slave seriously!? It takes an insider/insighter to spoil a party.

A corporate annual report has to state the remunerations proffered to the top recipients. Legislate the top paying bank to pay 10 times of the said reported amounts into a Banking Regulators' Emolument Fund, the next high paying bank 8 times . . . Now pay the top regulator 1.5 times of what the industry-top remunerated banker got, from the said Fund, . .
